We are delighted to announce that Nigel Sussex has raised the amazing amount of £1,391.53 from the Brighton Half Marathon last month.

One of Nigel’s dear friends Jemily has PMP (a form of cancer). She is being treated at Basingstoke Hospital where they have one of the two UK Centres for treating this form of Cancer. They have a fantastic team who do an an amazing job, and this money will help in raising additional funds for any specialist equipment.

Upon completion of the Brighton Half Marathon, Nigel said “Thanks everyone – this is me (including my retro 80’s headband!) just before the half way stage. It was truly an amazing experience – so much support and so many people running for so many good causes. Jemily has been so touched by all your support and passes on her thanks. Better start training for next year now!”.

On behalf of the patients and staff at Basingstoke Hospital, we cannot thank you enough Nigel, we are so proud of your incredible efforts. Every penny will make a difference by enabling us to buy much-needed equipment for the hospital.
