RW Armstrong Christmas Raffle Raises £2,514

Local building company RW Armstrong has raised an impressive £2,514 for the Hampshire Medical Fund with their Christmas Advent Daily Raffle.

Now in its third year, the Advent Daily Raffle adds a little festive cheer on the run-up to Christmas. The company purchases two tickets per person, then during November employees can purchase additional tickets for £1 each by making a donation to Hampshire Medical Fund. In the true spirit of an advent calendar, the prize winners are selected at random each day from the 1^st to the 24^th of December.

The majority of the prizes have been donated by generous suppliers, which this year included an iPad, an Apple watch, a Fortnum & Mason Christmas Hamper, an LG 43″ Ultra HD 4K TV and hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers for John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Amazon.

Last year the raffle raised £1,904 and this years target of £2,000 was well and truly beaten!

Thank you RW Armstrong for helping us to support our local Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This amazing contribution has enabled us to buy a fantastic new piece of therapy equipment for Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
