It started on a mild Sunday morning in London, where thousands of amatuer cyclists gathered to weave their way through 100 miles of London and Surrey roads. Nestled in the throng of the action were Simon, Tom, Pauline, Gerald, Emma, Martin and Jill who were ready to give team Ineos a run (or should we say cycle?) for their money!

Starting in Queen Elizabeth Park, our glorious riders braved the early start (05:45) and took their places before the start line and then off they went. Breezing past the famous landmarks of our capital city, the route took them over the river and through Richmond Park on to Surrey, eventually looping back to finish at The Mall back in London. Did we mention it was 100 miles?!

As the team rolled over the finish line and were greeted with shouts of congratulations, the money they had raised was probably not the first thing on their minds (we imagine sore legs were!) but they raised an impressive £2,714.17 for Hampshire Medical Fund.

It’s the continued support and fundraising efforts of people like Simon, Tom, Pauline, Gerald, Emma, Martin and Jill that are saving real lives. Saving the lives of people in our community and beyond. We’d like to thank them for choosing to ride for us as their favoured charity.

We are looking for riders for next year!
