Hampshire Medical Fund Presents Good Festival: A Family Fun Event to Support Neonatal Care at Hampshire Hospitals
The Hampshire Medical Fund is excited to announce that Good Festival 2024, a fun-filled family friendly extravaganza festival, is dedicated to raising funds to purchase Neonatal Transfer Trolleys for the Neonatal Unit at Royal Hampshire County Hospital. The event will take place on 16th June 2024 at Dummer Down Farm, Dummer, Basingstoke.
Good Festival promises a day packed with entertainment and activities for all ages, with a wide range of children’s activities, including bushcraft, bubble football, alpaca walking, crocodile encounters, family yoga and festival flower headdresses, to name but a few!
The event features live music performances from local bands, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food stalls offering delicious treats, from gourmet burgers to vegetarian delights and artisan ice-creams; satisfying all taste buds! For shoppers, there will be an array of local stallholders, from affordable pocket money treats and accessories to candles and garden furniture.
In addition to the fun and festivities, Good Festival provides an opportunity for the community to come together in support of a vital cause. The ticket proceeds and funds raised will be used to purchase a Neonatal Transfer Trolley, which is essential for the safe and efficient transfer of premature and vulnerable newborns requiring specialised care. These trolleys will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Neonatal Unit at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, ensuring better care for the most vulnerable patients.
“We are thrilled to host Good Festival and bring our community together for such an important cause. This event is not only about having fun but also about making a real difference in the lives of newborns and their families. We encourage everyone to join us for a fantastic day out and help support our fundraising mission.” – Lucy Liddell, Charity Director, HMF
