The OmiVista Mobii and OmiVista Laser Interactive projection systems create dynamic, touch-responsive surfaces on floors or tables, instantly transforming clinical environments into immersive play spaces at the touch of a button. With a treasure trove of over 300 interactive activities and games, children of all ages and abilities—including those with autism, sensory processing challenges, or special educational needs—can engage in focused, age-appropriate activities, making medical visits less intimidating.

Basingstoke and Winchester Hospitals are looking for 1 system for the Emergency Department in Basingstoke – (Winchester Emergency Department had a system funded by HMF last year, and 3 of the 4 originally requested systems have already been purchased for the Children’s wards).

There are two different systems:

• A fixed projector which will be installed in treatment rooms where the most acutely unwell children are stabilised or undergo invasive procedures.
• A mobile projector which will provide flexibility, ensuring that interactive play can be brought to any area of the hospital.

Key Benefits

For Children:

• Reduces pre-procedure anxiety, making medical experiences and hospital visits less distressing.
• Distracts children during a period of distress or when they are undergoing painful procedures.
• Encourages faster post-operative recovery, as children are more eager to get out of bed and engage in play using the system. Using it as a tool for distraction could also lead to reduced post operative pain.
• Improves the experience that children have when coming to hospital for a clinic appointment or procedure.

For Medical Teams:
